nope, the lack of cut/copy/paste is one of the biggest touted deficiencies of the ipod.
sadly, this kind of functionality is the kind of thing i like adding to a platform, but thanks to apple's buttsackery there is no way to make anything for the iphone other than a standalone app. e.g., no chance for anything akin to ubiquity or enso that breaks down the walls between islands of functionality.
i am looking forward to android.
